The Ore Kilns are a deviation of the regular Pit Kiln. The difference consists in the input item used. An Ore Kiln is made using a Clay Vessel as a base. Before placing the Vessel down, open it using right click. This will open this interface:
In the outer ring of the Clay Vessel, you can place ores to turn them into Ingots, or ingots to turn them into Alloys. You can only place one item/slot - this means you can make only 8 ingots at a time.
By of the Clay Vessel, you can see all the recipes for the Ore Kiln. The Ore Kiln can be used to obtain the following Ingots:
Copper
Tin
Zinc
Silver
Gold
Lead
Bronze
Here's the most efficient way of making Bronze:
This recipe will produce 8x Bronze Ingots. That's of course.. if you have Fuel.
In the middle slot of the Clay Vessel, you can place fuel in the form of Charcoal. Before doing this, you might wanna take a look at the Vessel's tooltip:
While a valid recipe is present in the Vessel, its tooltip will show you the output and the amount of Fuel required. 1x Charcoal = 8 fuel. This means that you'll need 4x Charcoal for this recipe.
After placing the Charcoal in the Fuel slot, we can the Vessel and get our Bronze.
